Travel is part of our family story.
Galibarda is a family business, now in its second generation. We started with a simple love of travel, and that hasn’t changed.
Today we design and operate tailor-made journeys across Türkiye, Greece, the Balkans, Italy, France, Malta, Spain, and Portugal, working with partners from Asia, Southeast Asia, South America, and the United States.
We’ve stayed small on purpose. It keeps us close to our partners, close to the destinations, and it means the person planning your programme is the same one answering your messages. That’s how we like to work, and we think it’s why people stay with us.

Ant Kobak (Antonio)
Managing Director
I’m Ant (also known as Antonio), Galibarda’s Managing Director and the second generation of our family in tourism. I was born in Istanbul, studied at the Catholic University of Milan, and learned this trade at our Florence office working alongside my father, before taking over the Istanbul office in 2018. I’m based in London these days, though you’ll often find me back in Istanbul at our office there, and somewhere new in the Mediterranean every month; inspecting hotels, meeting guides, and gathering first-hand knowledge for our programmes. I have a soft spot for the pilgrimage routes of the disciples and early Christianity in Anatolia, and I’ll happily talk your ear off about it. I look forward to working with you — and I’m proud to introduce the team below, who make it all happen.

Mr. Ertan, my father, left a small town in Türkiye for university and never really stopped travelling after that. He’s spent a lifetime in the Mediterranean and knows corners of Türkiye, Greece, and Italy that most people in this industry have never heard of. He founded Galibarda out of that, and out of a fairly stubborn idea of what proper hospitality should look like. He remains closely involved, sharing what he knows with the family and the team.
Together, the team continues the family tradition with personal care, flexibility, and close attention to every guest and partner.

Azra has lived in Türkiye, Italy, Canada, and the UK, and speaks five languages — which comes in handy more often than you’d think. She looks after our European operations, and there isn’t much she can’t sort out. Her background is a big part of why we’re comfortable working with partners anywhere in the world.

Fulya has twelve years of running operations in Türkiye behind her, and knows the country’s suppliers and guides personally rather than from a list. Those relationships are the reason things get sorted quickly when they need to be. She’s careful with detail in a way that’s hard to teach, and it shows in how our programmes run on the ground.

Belgin keeps track of everything happening in the regions we work in. A museum reopening after restoration, a restaurant worth booking, a small hotel that’s just changed hands — she knows about it before the rest of us do. It’s how we make sure what we’re selling is actually what’s there today, not what was there three years ago.

Eylem has been with us for ten years and brings more energy to the office than the rest of us combined. She handles our most complicated work — large corporate groups, incentive programmes, the requests that arrive with a long list of conditions attached. She’s a patient researcher and a very good negotiator, and she has a habit of finding a way when it looks like there isn’t one.
